Which marketing methods are you currently considering for your business?

You’ve got tons to choose from.

From blogging to podcasts, videos to press releases, a new website to email marketing, it’s hard to know which marketing methods to choose and, more importantly, which ones are going to give you a return on investment.

Let’s face it, although it’s nice if the methods you choose build awareness on your expertise, what you really want them to do is bring you in new leads and appointments. And if they don’t, it usually results in disappointment.

So which methods should you pick that are going to result in new potential clients for your business?

Well, what we always recommend is that you choose methods that have some element of reaching out and speaking with people. Until you talk to people, it’s difficult to find out who is interested in working with you and who isn’t.

The methods we use do exactly that – we use LinkedIn to find potential targets and then follow up to see whether they’d like to have a chat. We then take that one step further and speak to them over the phone to see whether they’d like to book in a meeting. These methods result consistently in between four to six qualified appointments on a monthly basis.

The bottom line is, unless the marketing methods you choose have some element of speaking to potential clients, they’re probably not going to get the results you’re looking for.
