Over the past few days, we’ve turned down a couple of potential clients. Now, saying “no” is never something we enjoy doing. After all, we’re in business to help people grow theirs. But in these cases, the fees offered were far below our standard rates.

And here’s the thing: it wasn’t about us not liking them. It wasn’t about us thinking we couldn’t deliver. It was about one word: quality.

Could we have cut corners? Absolutely. We could have stripped back the campaign and said, “Alright then, let’s just do telemarketing without LinkedIn or email.” But who wins in that situation?

  • Not the client – who would have expected results that never came.
  • Not us – who would have delivered a campaign we weren’t proud of.

That kind of compromise just creates frustration on both sides.

So, we said no. And honestly? We believe it was the right call.
