It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it

I had a call from a potential client the other day, asking whether we could do some telemarketing for him.

My response was “No… we can’t just do telemarketing.”

He seemed surprised by that until I explained that the reason why we don’t just do telemarketing is because the return on investment is soooo low!

It’s the same if you just do any marketing method on its own – if you send out emails, if you use LinkedIn, if you do social media, send out letters and so on – one marketing method on its own probably isn’t going to give you the return you’re looking for.

However, what WE do is use a combination of marketing methods to get the results you’re looking for. In this case, we connect with contacts initially on LinkedIn, then follow them up with some emails to build the relationship and then make a call to them.

Because we’ve connected on LinkedIn and started to build the relationship, when we call them, we often get a much warmer response, which ultimately leads to a qualified appointment.

That’s why we successfully get between three to six qualified appointments each and every month for our clients.
