Whenever we start working with a new client, one of the first questions we ask them is “do you have any case studies?”
If the answer is no, that’s not an issue at all, but we do tend to get case studies arranged for our clients as soon as possible.
Case studies are important for several reasons:
• They make what you do real for your clients. Sometimes it’s hard to visualise a product or service, but telling a story through a case study, helps people to understand what you do more thoroughly.
• None of us like to be first. Case studies show people you’ve done this before; you’re the expert and people can trust you.
• They give you the opportunity to really sell your business. Let’s face it, you can show off in a case study and tell people how great you really are. Make the most of it!
We make sure we write case studies in our business as soon as we’ve got the campaign working really successfully for our clients – usually around the three month mark.
