We all know that referrals are the best sources of new business, right?

After all, people are often referred by a happy client; they’re usually the right sort of prospect – the prospect is ready and willing to buy. They can be quick to buy from you and already know what to expect.

And if you get loads of referrals, happy days.

But that’s the issue isn’t it?

Referrals can be very unpredictable. It would be fine if you got a referral every week or even every other week, but the reality can be very different.

You may get a referral this month and then nothing for three months. You just don’t know.

It can be dangerous to rely on referrals as you just don’t know when they’ll come to fruition – if at all.
