Dates: Monday 28th April 10am-12pm (Bristol) and Tuesday 29th April 10am-12pm (Gloucestershire)
When you hear the word PR, what does it mean to you? Press releases; hard work; not sure where to start; don’t wanna contact the press or something else. About two years ago, I could completely resonate with these phrases. PR to me meant writing press releases and endless (scary) calls to journalists to try and get these releases into the paper. Problem was I wasn’t very good at this at getting my releases into the paper and hated making calls to the press. And then..someone told me that I was really good at PR. What a ridiculous statement! I was terrible at PR.
Then this person explained that actually PR was much more than press releases these days and there was loads of other stuff that I was doing that constituted PR. Once I thought of these activities in that way, I started being successful with PR and these days, journalists are contacting ME!
In this two hour workshop, I want to share my secrets with you. I want to tell you how to put in place a successful PR campaign and how even if you don’t like speaking to journalists, you can still make a PR campaign work for you.
We’re going to cover things like:
- How to come up with a ‘story’ that might be of interest to the press
- Why you’re probably doing some PR things already, but not realising it
- What PR activities you can consider
- How to make PR work for you without being too time-consuming
- Writing a press release
- How to get business from the PR you do
At the end of the workshop, I promise you that you’ll come away with a plan that you can put in place in your business immediately. And if you don’t get at least one useful tip from the workshop, I’ll refund your money – no questions asked!
I recently analysed the statistics from the workshops that we’ve run. In all over 100 small business owners have attended the workshops and 98% have rated them as Good or Excellent. Why not come along and see how they can help your business too? Here’s some of the comments we’ve had:
“Simplistic yet very valuable. Easy to implement & not confusing”
“I was able to be open about the issues I faced in a non-threatening environment”
“Opening my mind to ideas for simple marketing strategy”
The groups are kept small – maximum 12 participants so that you receive some individual attention and there are no ‘scary’ activities like role playing or giving a presentation to the group. The workshops are meant to be fun, interactive and give you plenty of help with what to do next.
The workshops cost just £30+VAT per person and there are discounts available if you book onto more than one workshop or book more than one place. You can pay by cash or cheque on the day and we’ll also send you a link so that you can pay by card if you prefer.
