Our team of professionals have worked with more than 400 small business owners and people starting a business throughout the UK. The team are:
Helen Dowling
Helen founded the company in 2003 and is a professional market analyst and business planner. Her dedication and drive for helping new and existing businesses saw the company nominated as a finalist in the Cotswold’s Life Awards in 2006 and Barclay’s National Business Plan Awards in 2005 and won us The Shell LiveWIRE Award for Entrepreneurial Tenacity in 2004. Helen is actively involved in many activities including starting a business courses, mentoring, Young Enterprise, pioneered a starting a business course in Gloucester Prison and is one of the experts on the Business start-up community.
Nick Dowling
Nick became a partner of the business in 2006 and is responsible for operations and communications in the business. He also has a full-time job as a teacher, so is helping build the training side of the business too.
Trudi Hayden
Trudi joined us in October 2007 and is responsible for working on client projects. She currently runs her own small business as an artist, so thoroughly understands what starting a business and running a small business is like. Trudi has experience in a wide variety of marketing activities, including market research, writing business plans and implementing marketing strategies. She is an excellent addition to the team.
Grant Shaw
Grant has been working with us since June 2005 and is an expert in all aspects of market research and business planning. His has many years experience in analysis and business development and has worked with many new and established small business owners to help them grow their business.
We also have two other researchers who work with us as and when the need arises.
